Home: Learning Center: Building Online Traffic

A lot of people think, when it comes to websites and Internet marketing: "If I build it, they will come." Such is not the case. Once you have a pretty site, you then have to get the word out!

One of the best ways to create traffic is by submitting articles, and network in forums. You are allowed to have a link to your site in your profile in forums, and you can create a "resource box" at the end of each article that you submit. When people read your posts, or your articles, you can them redirect them to your site. It's a wonderful thing.

Below are resources for you to start submitting your ezine, your articles, and great forums that you can network in.

Article Submission Sites:
A great way to get your business noticed is by writing articles in your field of expertise. People who run websites are always in need of content, and you can submit articles to various sites around the web! The site owners get information that they can pass on to their readers, and you get a host of new people interested in your products and services. If you feel adventurous, start up your own "ezine" where you can develop your own readership base! The sites listed accept articles from writers in various areas.

Ezine Submission Sites:
Do you have an ezine or e-newsletter for your business? Everyone should! It'll help you keep in contact with your customers and promote your products and services. Use these sites to help boost your subscription numbers.

Forums to Network in:
There are a bunch of websites out there that have a lot of great information. Many of these sites have message boards where you can talk to people about anything from healthy eating to cat toys. I get so much inspiration and support from others online, that I had to list some of My favourite message boards. Lurk and Learn!
